Concert Diary: Panic! at the Disco's "Pray for the Wicked Tour"
I know you guys have been waiting for this post and it's sooo long overdue!!!! I have been so busy lately with my summer classes and all that, but IM BACK!!!!
As you guys know I am a die-hard Panic fan! I love Brendon Urie with all my heart and I just had to see him live again! I went to the Death of the Bachelor Tour last year with legit my entire family (we all love him...it's a problem LOL). So, when I found out he was coming back to Miami on July 31st with the Pray for the Wicked Tour, my heart skipped a beat, I told all my friends, and we bought tickets!!! Soooo, here is my concert diary:
The famous and stressful question: "What am I going to wear?"
Ladies, we've all been here! You have an important event, you stand in front of your closet, and say, "Ugh...I have no clothes!" This was me for about 30 minutes, but then I put together a fun, cute little outfit!
Purse: Michael Kors (I bought it in Spain, so I couldn't find the link)
Us "Miamians" are always running on Cuban time, so we missed the first opening act, ARIZONA. We did stay for Hayley Kiyoko (aka from Lemonade Mouth) and she was okay. I did not know much about her, but her songs were really good. The performance though was questionable...the audio sucked and we couldn't hear anything! I was so upset! That's why I didn't take any pics of videos of her LMAO!
Time to PANIC
As soon as they dimmed the lights and Brendon Urie jumped up from the stage I DIED! He opened up with (F*ck A) Silver Lining and Don't Threaten Me With A Good Time (my fave) and it was SO MAJOR! Unfortunately, I don't have a video of those songs because I was losing my mind and just trying to take it all in!
What I loved about this concert was that he brought the house down with all the hits!!! Just look at how crazy we were when he played I Write Sins Not Tragedies:
This concert was visually STUNNING...more than his last tour! I was so impressed with how perfect the songs matched to the background visuals! Some of my favorite visual of the night was when Brendon performed "King of the Clouds" and "Nine in the Afternoon." Check it out below!
(BTW: These are all my videos!!)
Bohemian Rhapsody left us all S H O O K.
Brendon Urie does this song every time and it makes my heart happy! There is no other artist out there, other than Freddie Mercury of course, that can do Bohemian Rhapsody better than him. AND THAT'S A FACT!
The Unexpected Cover
One of the funnest parts of the concert was when Brendon covered "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" by Cyndi Lauper. For those that don't know, Brendon starred as Charlie Price in the hit Broadway musical Kinky Boots. The reason why he covered Lauper's song is because all the songs in the musical were written by the legend herself. Cool fact, huh??
The concert ended with Brendon performing "Victorious" and it was the perfect song to end a perfect night!!
